Prospecting on Social Networks Can Be a Goldmine

Yet, many network marketers see little or no success because they have not been properly trained.

While many network marketers are jumping online to avoid the “hard work” that comes with prospecting and recruiting offline, the reality is that just as many people struggle with social media marketing as they do with traditional methods.

Why?

Because they have not been trained correctly on how to build a business using online marketing methods.

I’m sure you’ve been slapped in the face with someone’s business opportunity link without them even knowing your name, or vice versa. Not only is this annoying, it dilutes the power of social media marketing.

So let’s start with the basics.

What is Social Media Marketing?

Social media marketing is not just the act of prospecting and recruiting people into your business, it’s a great way to network, meet new people, and get to know them socially.

You should never have a shortage of “MLM leads” when there are millions and millions of people online who you can attract and prospect. It’s virtually impossible to run out of leads.

So how can you take advantage of this endless stream of leads?

Here are 4 Tips for Recruiting on Social Networks:

  1. Never slam people with unsolicited links. In fact, you should never even mention your company and products unless the prospect asks you first. Many times social networkers will beat people over the head with their opportunity just because it’s the new, hot thing being promoted online. This is not effective, and it can actually damage your reputation.

  2. Engagement is the name of the game. People are too smart and savvy to fall for the one conversion pitch. Be friendly, be open when carrying on a conversation, and keep the door open to future correspondence. Don’t think you have to close someone the very first time you talk to them. More often than not, trying to close in the initial conversation, could ruin your chance of you getting them to look at your opportunity in the future.

  3. Control the conversation by listening. People like to share information with others when they feel someone really cares about what they have to say. You don’t have to talk, talk, talk to control the direction of the conversation, in fact, it’s quite the opposite. Ask questions… and I guarantee when people stop talking about themselves, they’ll feel comfortable enough to ask you about your business and life simply because you took the time to show genuine interest in them.

  4. Always be in qualifying mode. A huge part of asking questions is to get a feel about someone. Not everyone you talk to is someone you actually want to work with. When you are doing your social media marketing, look for qualities, traits and characteristics that make you feel good about working with someone. What makes social networking so awesome is that you can take a look at the friends a potential prospect has, how they converse online with other people, and what they post. There have been many times where I have purposely not mentioned my business because the person I was talking to was not the type of person I wanted to work with. That’s what makes building your own business so appealing – you choose who you want to work with.

Hopefully, these four tips for recruiting on social networks helps you. Begin using them, and you’ll see a huge difference in your social media marketing success.

Avoid These Facebook Recruiting Mistakes

[et_pb_section admin_label=”section”][et_pb_row admin_label=”row”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″][et_pb_text admin_label=”Text” background_layout=”light” text_orientation=”left” use_border_color=”off” border_color=”#ffffff” border_style=”solid”]

Do you make make these Facebook recruiting mistakes?  Everyone knows Facebook is an absolute goldmine however; prospecting on this social network has gotten a little bit out of control.

With more than 1 billion people in its network, Facebook is the go-to spot for hungry network marketers who are looking to recruit fresh blood into their home based business.

So, to help you learn how not to grow your business on Facebook, here are 3 steps every online marketer needs to know:

1. Resist the Urge to Spam

With the influx of people spamming their affiliate and business opportunity links online, you would think this type of activity must be producing massive results if so many people are doing it, right?  WRONG!

The only thing worse than having no prospects, is having angry and annoyed prospects. Never send unsolicited messages in the hopes that you will catch a few people who are interested in your business…it doesn’t work.

2. Keep a Professional Profile

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been prospected by someone who has a wall full of profanity, pictures of themselves hanging out at the club with a drink in their hand, or their timeline cover is splashed with their company’s name and products.

If you want to attract people who want to seriously build a home business, you need to present yourself in a professional manner. Now, don’t get me wrong, I am not saying don’t be yourself. But, network marketing is a serious profession, and if you want to recruit other top notch teammates, you must convey some sort of tact.

3. Don’t Take Advantage of Your Connections

One of the most tragic things on Facebook is the blatant lack of respect and courtesy people have for their “friends” because they are so focused on promoting their business.

Facebook is a social network, which means you should be building friendships. When someone accepts your friend request, don’t make them regret it because the first thing you do is send them a link to your MLM opportunity.

This is not the way to build a successful business online, and when it comes to recruiting on Facebook, you should never, ever, ever, send anyone an “unsolicited link.”

Social media is a place to get to know new people, share stories, connect through pictures, videos, and status updates. Not everyone is going to be a good fit for your business opportunity, and it is your job to connect with people first to figure that out.

If you take the time to nurture your relationships on Facebook, you’ll have people running to you to ask you what it is that you do and how they can join you!

If you’re ready to develop yourself, your business and your life into what you desire… then follow the trail left by the top earners in the industry by clicking here

3 Surefire Methods for Network Marketing Recruiting

[et_pb_section admin_label=”section”][et_pb_row admin_label=”row”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″][et_pb_text admin_label=”Text” background_layout=”light” text_orientation=”left” use_border_color=”off” border_color=”#ffffff” border_style=”solid”]

Are you looking for new ways to grow your downline and build your network marketing business?  One of the best methods for generating leads into your primary business is to go where the people are…and where are all the people?

Online!

While a lot of network marketers are flooding the online MLM scene, so many of them are doing it wrong.  If you learn to prospect the right way online, you can have incredible success.

Online marketing is more than just shooting out a link about your business opportunity and hoping it attracts tons of people to your business. Those who understand how to leverage the power of social media the right way will see the most success.

If you’ve hit a wall with your network marketing recruiting and are looking for new, fresh ways to increase your sign ups, income and authority, here are 3 surefire methods for network marketing recruiting that you can implement now to get better results.

1.  Facebook Prospecting

It’s extremely easy to prospect on social networks such as Facebook. Connecting with people doesn’t cost a thing, just a little investment of your time. You can reach out to people, develop relationships, and see if the people you talk to are open to making money from home.

Facebook is also great for driving targeted traffic to your business opportunity, business page, or lead capture page. Even with a limited budget you can leverage Facebook Ads to drive tons of traffic.

Here are a few things to remember when recruiting through social media networks:

  1. Don’t send unsolicited links to people.
  2. Focus on engagement and getting to know people by opening up the door to conversation, listening and building genuine relationships.
  3. Lead with value, not what your company’s products or services can do for someone.

2.  Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and Forum Marketing

There are a number of social sites network marketers can leverage to build connections with others. You can create a free account on any of the social networks and go out and begin connecting. Engage by adding attractive content, posting insightful comments, and becoming a part of the conversation. It’s not hard to get noticed online when you are sharing information that entertains, engages and evokes curiosity.

3.  Use Target Marketing

If you know the types of people you want to work with, go after them– focus on attracting those types of people to you. That means attending events, webinars, and participating in online groups and forums that are aimed at your target audience.

This will help you surround yourself with your ideal prospect and make it that much easier to connect and engage with them through common interests.

As a newbie network marketer you don’t have time to waste. You need to get out of the gates quickly and begin generating leads by any means necessary to get the momentum and results you need to grow your business.

Once you establish a daily routine for generating leads for your network marketing business, you’ll find prospecting and signing up new recruits into your business becomes easier than ever.

Follow these three methods, and before you know it, you’ll be well on your way to network marketing recruiting success.

The BS Your Upline Feeds You – Can You Relate?

Chances are you’re reading this blog post because you’re one of the 97% of Network marketers who have struggled or failed in this industry because of the BS Your Upline Feeds You.

If you’ve been in the Network Marketing Industry for any length of time, I’m sure you’ve  joined many different opportunities.   It’s very common for people to explore quite a number of different  Network Marketing opportunities trying to find the one that actually shows promise. That’s exactly what I did and I still have tons of opportunity DVDs, brochures, unused products, and samples packed away in boxes.

Because I wanted so badly to be successful in this business, I followed every single direction I received from my Upline. And for all the time, effort, and money I put into all those so-called opportunities, I really had nothing but stacked boxes in my closet to show for it. I was broke, depressed and disillusioned!

This isn’t about criticizing all Uplines. This was my experience and if you’re reading this post, I’m sure you can relate.

When you’re in the Network Marketing industry, you’re advised to do exactly as you’re told by your Upline.

And of course you do it because you assume this is what they did to build their massive downline of hard working distributors.

The reality is…   NOT ONE single top performer in any Network Marketing  or Direct Sales company have used those methods solely  to build their team (but my Upline didn’t tell me that).

What I’m telling you will hit home with the vast majority of network marketers reading this who have worked themselves to the bone just to see little or no results in the end.

Most, if not all of you, have likely spent far more money than you made in this endeavor.

Along the way you have pestered friends and family, spent way too much on leads that led nowhere; by now you have made friends with the staff at more than one area hotel where you’ve attended conferences.

Your Failure up to this point is NOT YOUR FAULT.

You’ve been misinformed by your Upline and your MLM company.

PinocchioThey’ve been telling you that the road to success involves simply following the company’s training:

  • posting your links on social media,
  • buying lead lists,
  • writing down all your contacts- calling them,
  • getting to the meetings and taking others,
  • setting up conference calls with your Upline–  and to keep at it day after day.

They don’t tell you that anyone who has truly been successful in Network Marketing has learned how to effectively market their business…

They don’t tell you It’s not a matter of telling everyone you come across all about your very generous comp plan while dispensing product information word for word…

They don’t tell you what you need to do is learn what it takes to actually connect with others on a deeper level. Get to know them and find out what their needs are. This is NOT about what you need, but what they need.

…This is what effective marketing is all about…

Your Target Market is Not Your Friends and Family

The BIGGEST fallacy in Network Marketing is that everyone is your prospect.  I’m sure you’ve heard of “The 3-foot Rule,” the one that says all you have to do is simply talk to anyone and everyone that comes near you, within 3 feet. This is simply not true.

It’s also not gonna do you any good to pester your friends and family to fill your downline. If your entire strategy for building your business depends on pestering everyone you know, you’ll soon find yourself in the NFL (No Friends Left) club . They’ll avoid you like the plague.

Instead, you need to put your focus and energy Into people who are of the same mindset as you – people who are entrepreneurs at heart.

It is always best if you can find people who have already tried Network Marketing in the past, but have not yet seen much, if any success.

By showing them your system, teaching them what actually works to grow their business, and the marketing techniques you’ve used, you will be offering them a real solution.

Your prospects must understand that you are giving them the answers and a solution that will actually move them up the ladder of success.

…You Must Be Willing to Bring Value to Your Prospects and Customers

People buy into an opportunity to solve a problem they’re dealing with in life. It usually has to do with needing more money, more freedom and/or to build a nest egg for retirement.

If what you are planning to dobuild relationships is just point out things in your company’s training manual, then you really aren’t going to solve their problem. You must have the answer to how they are going to succeed.

What are you prepared to do to get them where they want to go…

When you have someone new joining your business they will need guidance and direction from you. You must let them know that there is a plan and a system set up for them to succeed.

They must be confident that you can help them reach a higher station in life. This is what they want and need from you.

In order for you to be able to give it to them and separate yourself from the competition, you’ve got to start gaining knowledge yourself.

You need to know how marketing is done in the digital age. You also need to know about personal branding, which is the key to an unlimited flow of great leads. And, most importantly, you’ll  need to know how to convey all this information to everyone in your downline.

If you are able to show a prospect that you can give them the knowledge and tools to help them achieve their goals, they have every reason in the world to join your organization.

The Key to Success in Network Marketing

The secret to being able to build a successful MLM business involves everything discussed in this blog post.

Your prospect must have a good reason for joining up with you. Their reason will have nothing to do with the products or the opportunity, and EVERYTHING to do with YOU as their leader.

You must gain the knowledge you need to succeed yourself, which means get to know your products and all about your comp plan, but most importantly, about marketing.

Show them that you have the answer to their problem. Be the Leader they’re searching for.
