How to Make Your Prospect Feel Approachable Instantly

How to Make Your Prospect Feel Approachable Instantly

[et_pb_section admin_label=”section”][et_pb_row admin_label=”row”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″][et_pb_text admin_label=”Text” background_layout=”light” text_orientation=”left” use_border_color=”off” border_color=”#ffffff” border_style=”solid”]

Have you ever known a person who seems to make friends instantly? He enters a room and immediately starts talking to a stranger as if he’s known him for years. He calls a prospect for the first time and the prospect carries on with him as if they’re best friends. So, how does he do it?   In today’s post I will share with what he does and how you can also make your prospect feel approachable instantly.

You’ve probably also encountered people who are nice once you get to know them, but are hard to get to know.

So what is this secret that distinguishes the easy-to-know approachable types from the hard-to-get-to-know types who have handicapped themselves from getting along in this world?

How to Turn on the Magic Switch That Turns on Friendly Emotions

The secret is… you have to believe that the other person is going to like you.   You’ve got to assume the attitude you expect the other person to take.  When you take on this attitude, you’re thoroughly convinced that the other person will like you, so you’re not afraid of them.   If you’re not afraid, you’re not on the defensive.

Fear of People Drives Them Away

Fear is one of the greatest handicaps to getting to know people quickly. You’re afraid the person will not like you so you hide in your shell.

Nothing is truer in the field of human relationships than this: If your basic attitude is that people will be unapproachable or they will not like you—your experience will prove it to be so.  If your basic attitude is people will be approachable and will act friendly towards you—again your experience will prove it so.

Take the Chance Your Prospect is Approachable- The Odds are in Your Favor

Don’t always assume that you’ll be snubbed by the other person.  Take the risk.  Bet on him being approachable.  You won’t win every time, but the odds are in your favor.

Most people crave friendship as you do. It’s a universal craving.  The reason the other person may not appear approachable is maybe because he’s afraid of you, afraid that you will reject him.

Relax and Take for Granted That You Will Be Liked

In any human relations situation, it doesn’t pay to be over anxious; to practically let the other person know you’re drooling to get what you want.

When you give the impression that you’re desperate, when you show anxiety; your prospect starts to wonder why you are trying so hard and doubt creeps in.

The trick is not to knock yourself out trying to get the other person to come through.  Just relax, and know that he will be friendly and reasonable. Then you’ll be relaxed, calm and collected when dealing with him.

One Thing You Can Do to Relax Yourself is Smile

It’s almost impossible to be worried and anxious when you’re smiling.  A smile is relaxing.  A smile shows confidence.

A sincere smile works like a “magic switch” that turns on a friendly emotion in the other person instantly.  Even if you prospect online, when you exude sincere, positive energy the other person can feel it.

Learn to smile on the Inside.  Imagine that you feel all smiley inside. It’s your FEELING that gets across to your prospect’s subconscious not your facial expression.

If you want your smile to be a friend-maker, it must come from down deep. Not  from your diaphragm- but from your heart.  A good sincere smile says several things to the other person, it says not only “I like you and I come as a friend”, it also says “I assume that you are going to like me too”.

Conquer Prospecting Anxiety

3 Ways to Conquer Prospecting Anxiety

[et_pb_section admin_label=”section”][et_pb_row admin_label=”row”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″][et_pb_text admin_label=”Text” background_layout=”light” text_orientation=”left” use_border_color=”off” border_color=”#ffffff” border_style=”solid”]

Do you hate prospecting? So do 95 percent of network marketers. There is a certain amount of anxiety, or stage fright fear that is natural when you prospect.  This type of fear can absolutely stop you cold and keep you from doing the critically important activities you need to build your business.

We all understand that prospecting is absolutely necessary to build any business. So why is it that this basic task becomes so overwhelming? And, how can you overcome your fear and anxiety of prospecting? In today’s post I will share with you 3 Ways to Conquer Prospecting Anxiety:

Become Good at Prospecting; Keep Up Your Personal Development

Starting out with great skills can help build your competence and your confidence, removing any fear of failure, and any shred of doubt that you can succeed for yourself, for your company, and for your client. Personal development is the key to unlocking your confidence and courage to succeed in prospecting. Your prospects will recognize these attributes and skills in you, because you’ll recognize them in yourself

Change What you Say to Yourself When You Hear “No”

In the process of building relationships with prospective clients, realize that you can’t please everybody.  What you’re presenting will feel right for some prospects, but not for others no matter how good your products or service is.

If you’re passionate about what you do and you love your product/services, you have to realize that you’re coming from a place of service and you’re trying to help people. If they tell you “no”, tell yourself “that’s their loss, not yours- they’ve just lost the opportunity to work with you.”

Get Over Your Hang Ups About Rejection and Objections.

What’s the worst thing that can happen?  When people tell you “no”, it’s just a word. Don’t take it personally, they’re not rejecting you. Not everyone will want your product or service.

…Don’t be intimidated.   Speak from the heart.   Connect with people.

If you create a mental fantasy of people responding negatively toward your offer, you will have difficulty prospecting. Don’t fantasize anything about your next prospect. Keep your mind clear, and be ready to respond appropriately in the moment as it happens.

Business will come to you based on your commitment to prospect more than the results of how people respond to you.  Taking action is the most important thing you can do. For every action there is a reaction. If you prospect, good things will happen.

Keep Your Posture

How to Keep Your Posture When Talking to Prospects

[et_pb_section admin_label=”section”][et_pb_row admin_label=”row”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″][et_pb_text admin_label=”Text” background_layout=”light” text_orientation=”left” use_border_color=”off” border_color=”#ffffff” border_style=”solid”]

If you want to get fast results in your business, you need to learn how to keep your posture  when talking to prospects.

Posture is about Attitude

It’s knowing with confidence that you’re the “one” with the gift.  You have the goose that lays the golden egg and as a professional Network Marketer, you’re happy to share this gift with others.

In today’s post I’ll share with you tips on How to Keep Your Posture When Talking with Prospects:

Professionals Sort

To keep your posture, your attitude should be about interviewing your prospects to see if they have the qualities you’re looking for.  Simply put, you, as a professional, sort, you don’t  beg or chase.

Perception is Reality

The interview should be brief. This is vital, because you need to convey the message that you are busy and successful. Spending a lot of time talking and trying to convince a prospect about our products or opportunity sends out exactly the opposite message.

You a Leader; Not a Follower

With the right mentality, you behave as a leader. You don’t allow rude prospects to waste your time. You stay in control of the conversation; and you’re happy to move on from prospects who have no desire to change the quality of their lives.

Respect Your Business

You appreciate that you’re running a multi-million dollar business. Your time is precious. You use it for serving  prospects who want what you have to offer!

Detach from the Outcome

“Some will, some won’t…so what?”

As you get more experience and become better at marketing, your confidence will grow. You’ll be able to become less and less attached to the outcome of your conversations with prospects.

Yes, you’ll always want to prospect with a clear intent and visualize a positive outcome (a sale or sign-up), but at the same time it’s really just “business as usual”.

You’ll get BOTH Yes’s and No’s in this industry – it’s to be expected!

…The irony is that the less you care, the better you’ll do!

This is because your prospect will sense that you’re relaxed and that makes you come across as a leader.  They will sense that it’s really no big deal to you whether they sign up with you or not.

They’ll assume you have lots of people wanting to get in, and this will again make them WANT to work with you! The person who’s successful, who’s has lots of people knocking at their door – that’s the person everyone wants to work with.   It’s human psychology, pure and simple.

Guide Your Prospect To The Next Step

Never give your prospect too many options. This confuses them, and confused people don’t take action.   Ask yourself, “What is the ONE step I want them to take right now that will move them along in the process of becoming a distributor/an affiliate/or placing an order?

Whatever is gonna move them ONE step further in the right direction, that’s where you want to lead them.  Take them by the hand and guide them along. When you do, you’ll project posture because you are LEADING them…and that is what leaders do…they LEAD!

Body Language Signs

Prospecting: 5 Body Language Signs You Need to Know

[et_pb_section admin_label=”section”][et_pb_row admin_label=”row”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″][et_pb_text admin_label=”Text” background_layout=”light” text_orientation=”left” use_border_color=”off” border_color=”#ffffff” border_style=”solid”]

Did you know that communication is only 10% verbal?  Most of what you communicate comes across in the tone of your voice (30%), and your gestures (60%).  Your body language  reveals more about you than you may know.

Your prospect’s behavior provides clues as to how they’re feeling, which in turn lets you know how you should approach them. But body language goes both ways. You must be aware of your own behavior as well to  get the best possible reaction from your audience. Bear this in mind the next time you present your opportunity or service to a potential prospect.

The Eyes Have It

I’m sure you’ve heard this one before, “you can tell a lot by a person’s eyes”.  Eye communication is a great skill to have and eye contact is a great tool to master.

Darting eyes means a person feels insecure. This person is looking for an escape route from talking to you.

Have you ever talked to someone and noticed that his or her eyes were looking everywhere, but at you? This is a sign of boredom and/or distraction, it also means the person is seeking a way to get outta your space.

Defensive, Comfortable, or Just Chilly?

If someone habitually crosses their arms, they prefer to say they’re cold or comfortable rather than to admit that they’re nervous, anxious or defensive.

If your prospect crosses his arms, he’s likely adopting a defensive position towards something you said. Try to re-engage them by shifting the focus back on them and what they want. Get them to participate. Instead of focusing on thoughts, ask them how they feel about what you’ve discussed.

Head Games

Always try to keep your head at a level, steady position. This is implies confidence and sends the signal that people should listen to you. Tilting your head to the side is a sign that you are receptive and ready to listen.

To Cross or Not To Cross

When having a conversation with someone, make sure both feet are on the ground.  Twitchy, restless legs betray nerves and stress

If a person crosses both their legs and arms, this is an indication that he or she is emotionally withdrawn from the conversation.

If they cross their legs at the ankles while sitting down, this can mean they’re afraid, unsure, or holding back.

Seal the Deal

No one likes a cold, clammy hand—it’s a sign of nervousness..  Make sure your hands are warm and dry!  A firm grip on your handshake shows that you’re confident, friendly, and trustworthy.

People in sales are taught to watch for a customer’s exposed palms if they give reasons or objections as to  why they can’t purchase a product or service. If they’re giving a valid reason, they will typically shows their palms. If they’re being open about explaining their reasons, they’ll use their hands and flash their palms; whereas someone who isn’t telling the truth is more likely to give the same verbal response but conceal his hands.

In the end, people like to be liked. If you give every indication that you like the person sitting across from you, they’ll reflect the same thing back at you. And it’s always easier to present to a friendly audience.

Prejudge Prospects Gavel

MLM 101: Do You Prejudge Prospects

[et_pb_section admin_label=”section”][et_pb_row admin_label=”row”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″][et_pb_text admin_label=”Text” background_layout=”light” text_orientation=”left” use_border_color=”off” border_color=”#ffffff” border_style=”solid”]

When prospecting, DON’T Discriminate.  What I mean by that is, you should not prejudge prospects by who you think will or will not make a great team member in your organization.

There are numerous examples of what you should and shouldn’t do in Network Marketing, and to not prejudge prospects is the #1 rule.  I’ve watched and listened to various recruiting experiences from different people in the industry who made sloppy decisions because they broke the golden rule–

Here’s what can happen when you Prejudge Prospects:

The Super Duper Ass Kicker

kick-assI witnessed a distributor get excited about someone they knew was gonna come in and “totally kick ass” in their organization.  This person was coming from another company bringing in 50 people with him and promised to do some super amazing things in the business.

He came in, and not too long afterwards, his sizzle began to fizzle.  No one joined his team, and no one came with him from the previous company.

Very quickly it became apparent that he was a dud, and within a few months he disappeared into thin air.

Doesn’t Have What “It Takes”

I’ve also seen the total opposite happen; a distributor who was being very laid-back and cautious about following up with a potential recruit because he didn’t think he “what  it takes”.   The potential recruit got frustrated at the lack of follow up and went on to join the business under someone else.   He surpassed his Upline in sales, recruiting, and leadership.

I Think I’ll Pass On This One

I’ve also seen someone “passing” on a recruit because he was not a huge performer, and did not have the “it” factor.  But, this person did recruit 2 people…  and one of those people went on to become a national year-end sales winner.

So, here’s the deal guys…

Before you prejudge prospects, remember sometimes… “Those you think will, won’t   and, “Those you think won’t, will!”  The Network Marketing industry can be very tricky, and it’s often a challenge to determine who will produce results versus who will simply become a number.

When you prejudge prospects it’s is all about you. You’re relying on your faulty and costly assumptions, thoughts, and beliefs.  You’re making assumptions about someone before you ask questions or uncover facts.  It’s your job to pre-qualify them first…. then, let them decide whether or not they want to move forward.

Don’t underestimate someone because of their current income status or profession.  Inside each of us is a dream that is lying dormant, waiting for someone to come and help bring it to life.

You never know who you can free from life’s miseries and struggles; who you can empower by believing in them enough to present them with your amazing opportunity.

Once you open the door, you have no idea who you’re letting in.  It could be someone who has the potential to bring massive success to your organization by empowering others to grow and change their lives as well.

The Most Crucial Closing Strategy: Find The Need

[et_pb_section admin_label=”section”][et_pb_row admin_label=”row”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″][et_pb_text admin_label=”Text” background_layout=”light” text_orientation=”left” use_border_color=”off” border_color=”#ffffff” border_style=”solid”]

Are you struggling to recruit people in your Network Marketing business?  Showing people why they should join your organization is one of the most crucial networking skills you’ll want in your arsenal. Most network marketers come across as pitchy or salesly, which is a turn-off for most people. Trying to push your product onto a prospect or using the energy of your presentation to override their concerns and objections is one the main reasons people dislike dealing with sales people.

No One Likes Being Sold!

A prospect may buy your product or service just to get you off their back, but you’ll definitely lose their respect and the chance to re-sell to them. This is the worst way to build your network because your organization won’t have a solid relationship to stand on.  Your new recruits will quit as quickly as they sign-up.

Presenting your service or product as the best solution to your client’s needs is an approach that not only stands a better chance of you closing the prospect, but also makes them feel that you genuinely care about them.

You need to do more listening and less talking.  Most network marketers do “telling and selling”. People don’t care about what you know.  They care about how much you care about them.

Be patient and a have sympathetic ear. Your goal is to find your prospect’s specific need by asking questions before positioning your product or service as a solution.

Imagine chatting with your prospect for the first time. Do you immediately go into the presentation? No! You want to get to know them first. Build rapport. This is an ideal time to ask a few probing questions.

Ask Open Ended Questions

Probing is a subtle art. You need to come from a place of genuine interest, without coming across as snooping. You goal is to get them to talk about themselves. This is usually quite easy to do, because we are our favorite subject.

You want to steer the conversation towards subjects that are important to them. Ask them to elaborate, clarify, and share their story.  Doing so will eventually lead them to talk about what’s missing from their lives.

Here are a few conversation starters that can lead towards a more meaningful conversation:

  • How’s the spouse, kids, parents?
  • What do you do for a living?
  • What does that entail?
  • Do you enjoy what you do?
  • Have you ever considered doing something else?
  • What experience do you have in the home-based business industry?
  • So are you thinking about retirement? How’s that’s going so far?

You can also steer the conversation towards health, children’s education, or any present or future expenses.

Probe deep to get to the core of their problems. Maybe they’re stressed about financing their home or purchasing a new vehicle. Maybe they’re unhappy with their job status or they’re living paycheck to paycheck. Are they burdened with supporting their parents or an unemployed sibling? Are they facing an uncertain financial future?

Listen With Intention

Take the time to sincerely listen, to empathize with your prospect. Keep an open mind.  Let them talk. People like to feel they’re being listened to.  Resist the temptation to jump in with advice. It’s important that you listen to understand what they want, and you’re genuinely interested in what they have to say. This frees people the time to think, they like respect, and they begin to trust you.  The level of trust comes easier when you’re listening. Your prospect feels more relaxed, and doesn’t feel like they’re being sold to.

Only, after they’ve finished talking, and you thank them for sharing, should you then lead into your presentation:

“I understand that you have some concerns and I’d like to help you. I know a way that can benefit you financially/career-wise/health-wise. You can do it in your free time and at your own pace. This may or may not be for you, but would  you open to looking at what I’m doing to see if it’s a fit for you as well?  If they say yes, proceed with “if I send you a short video would you take the time to look at it”?, or “If I gave you a sample of the product would you try it?”

If the prospect says Yes,  “when do you think you’ll have a chance to look at the video or try the sample?” You’re allowing the prospect to agree to look, letting you know when they can watch it, and then letting them schedule the follow-up.

When you establish a specific need, you have the basis for a business relationship. Come from the spirit of service. Your prospect won’t feel like you’ve sold them anything; they’ll feel as if you helped them make a wise choice.

Who Is Your Ideal MLM Prospect?

[et_pb_section admin_label=”section”][et_pb_row admin_label=”row”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″][et_pb_text admin_label=”Text” background_layout=”light” text_orientation=”left” use_border_color=”off” border_color=”#ffffff” border_style=”solid”]

When you’re looking for someone to recruit into your MLM team, you need to know WHO your ideal prospect is, and what traits to look for when you’re searching for him or her?

Here are some traits to look for that can make a great MLM Leader:  They have an entrepreneurial mentality, integrity, they’re coach-able, ambitious, and have a positive attitude.

A prospect is anyone who can benefit from the opportunity your company provides.  Your goal is to ask questions to determine if there’s a need for what you have.   As you’re prospecting each day, you are looking for people who have a problem that your product or service can provide a solution for.

Who Could Benefit From What You Have to Offer?

Typically, it’s someone who’s looking for:

  • Additional Income
  • Financial security
  • Improved lifestyle
  • Flexibility
  • Family Vacations
  • _______ (List your company’s benefits here!)

The product(s) your company offers may have health or legal benefits that may interest certain individuals. Whatever benefits your company provides…  commit them to memory.  This list of benefits will act as a catalyst in growing your business.

When you’re talking to someone, and ANY of these buzz words are mentioned, bells should go off for you! This person is a prospect. He or she can certainly benefit from what your company has to offer!

Exposing Them to the Solution

When you’re speaking to someone who can benefit from your product or service, it’s time to let them in on the wonderful opportunity your company offers. This is the time to say something like this:

“You mentioned that you’ve been looking for ________. I was in the same situation myself 6 months ago, so I know how you feel! It turned around when I began working with  ___________, which is the best thing I’ve ever done for myself.  This may or may not be for you, but would you be open to looking  at a short video?”

With this simple statement, you’ve let them know that you heard their “issue”, and you/your Company has a benefit that can solve it. You’ve now connected with a prospect.

You’ll find that not everyone is an ideal prospect for your business.  Whether they are or not, is what you must determine. If they’re not, they generally know someone who is!

Recruiting Tips for Social Media Marketing

[et_pb_section admin_label=”section”][et_pb_row admin_label=”row”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″][et_pb_text admin_label=”Text” background_layout=”light” text_orientation=”left” use_border_color=”off” border_color=”#ffffff” border_style=”solid”]

Prospecting on Social Networks Can Be a Goldmine

Yet, many network marketers see little or no success because they have not been properly trained.

While many network marketers are jumping online to avoid the “hard work” that comes with prospecting and recruiting offline, the reality is that just as many people struggle with social media marketing as they do with traditional methods.

Why?

Because they have not been trained correctly on how to build a business using online marketing methods.

I’m sure you’ve been slapped in the face with someone’s business opportunity link without them even knowing your name, or vice versa. Not only is this annoying, it dilutes the power of social media marketing.

So let’s start with the basics.

What is Social Media Marketing?

Social media marketing is not just the act of prospecting and recruiting people into your business, it’s a great way to network, meet new people, and get to know them socially.

You should never have a shortage of “MLM leads” when there are millions and millions of people online who you can attract and prospect. It’s virtually impossible to run out of leads.

So how can you take advantage of this endless stream of leads?

Here are 4 Tips for Recruiting on Social Networks:

  1. Never slam people with unsolicited links. In fact, you should never even mention your company and products unless the prospect asks you first. Many times social networkers will beat people over the head with their opportunity just because it’s the new, hot thing being promoted online. This is not effective, and it can actually damage your reputation.

  2. Engagement is the name of the game. People are too smart and savvy to fall for the one conversion pitch. Be friendly, be open when carrying on a conversation, and keep the door open to future correspondence. Don’t think you have to close someone the very first time you talk to them. More often than not, trying to close in the initial conversation, could ruin your chance of you getting them to look at your opportunity in the future.

  3. Control the conversation by listening. People like to share information with others when they feel someone really cares about what they have to say. You don’t have to talk, talk, talk to control the direction of the conversation, in fact, it’s quite the opposite. Ask questions… and I guarantee when people stop talking about themselves, they’ll feel comfortable enough to ask you about your business and life simply because you took the time to show genuine interest in them.

  4. Always be in qualifying mode. A huge part of asking questions is to get a feel about someone. Not everyone you talk to is someone you actually want to work with. When you are doing your social media marketing, look for qualities, traits and characteristics that make you feel good about working with someone. What makes social networking so awesome is that you can take a look at the friends a potential prospect has, how they converse online with other people, and what they post. There have been many times where I have purposely not mentioned my business because the person I was talking to was not the type of person I wanted to work with. That’s what makes building your own business so appealing – you choose who you want to work with.

Hopefully, these four tips for recruiting on social networks helps you. Begin using them, and you’ll see a huge difference in your social media marketing success.

Avoid These Facebook Recruiting Mistakes

[et_pb_section admin_label=”section”][et_pb_row admin_label=”row”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″][et_pb_text admin_label=”Text” background_layout=”light” text_orientation=”left” use_border_color=”off” border_color=”#ffffff” border_style=”solid”]

Do you make make these Facebook recruiting mistakes?  Everyone knows Facebook is an absolute goldmine however; prospecting on this social network has gotten a little bit out of control.

With more than 1 billion people in its network, Facebook is the go-to spot for hungry network marketers who are looking to recruit fresh blood into their home based business.

So, to help you learn how not to grow your business on Facebook, here are 3 steps every online marketer needs to know:

1. Resist the Urge to Spam

With the influx of people spamming their affiliate and business opportunity links online, you would think this type of activity must be producing massive results if so many people are doing it, right?  WRONG!

The only thing worse than having no prospects, is having angry and annoyed prospects. Never send unsolicited messages in the hopes that you will catch a few people who are interested in your business…it doesn’t work.

2. Keep a Professional Profile

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been prospected by someone who has a wall full of profanity, pictures of themselves hanging out at the club with a drink in their hand, or their timeline cover is splashed with their company’s name and products.

If you want to attract people who want to seriously build a home business, you need to present yourself in a professional manner. Now, don’t get me wrong, I am not saying don’t be yourself. But, network marketing is a serious profession, and if you want to recruit other top notch teammates, you must convey some sort of tact.

3. Don’t Take Advantage of Your Connections

One of the most tragic things on Facebook is the blatant lack of respect and courtesy people have for their “friends” because they are so focused on promoting their business.

Facebook is a social network, which means you should be building friendships. When someone accepts your friend request, don’t make them regret it because the first thing you do is send them a link to your MLM opportunity.

This is not the way to build a successful business online, and when it comes to recruiting on Facebook, you should never, ever, ever, send anyone an “unsolicited link.”

Social media is a place to get to know new people, share stories, connect through pictures, videos, and status updates. Not everyone is going to be a good fit for your business opportunity, and it is your job to connect with people first to figure that out.

If you take the time to nurture your relationships on Facebook, you’ll have people running to you to ask you what it is that you do and how they can join you!

3 Effective Techniques to Create Downline Duplication

[et_pb_section admin_label=”section”][et_pb_row admin_label=”row”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″][et_pb_text admin_label=”Text” background_layout=”light” text_orientation=”left” use_border_color=”off” border_color=”#ffffff” border_style=”solid”]

Chances are you’re reading this post because you’re struggling to build your MLM downline.  If you want to be successful in this industry, you need to know how to grow your network and create duplication in your organization.

In today’s post I’m gonna share with you 3 effective techniques that you can apply to jump-start your success.

Network Marketing is About Leverage

Leverage allows you to duplicate yourself through the efforts of other people, and can easily multiply your income beyond your expectations. It’s the name of the game and the only way to truly develop multiple figures in this industry.

You leverage your time, money, and efforts by finding a group of people who can follow the systems that are in place, and are willing to take action and commit to the activities that will open the doors to their success.

In the Network Marketing Industry, the concept of leverage is designed to take your limitations as one person, and utilize the time, talents, and techniques of others to increase your capabilities and enhance the power of a team working together towards one vision.

The 3 Effective Techniques for Downline Duplication:

1.  The “Fisherman” Technique

Fishermen go out on the ocean to find fish. In the Network Marketing Industry, fish are all around you. All you have to do is pay attention to where they are—and begin connecting with them.

You can come across more prospects by making an effort to connect with the people that are around you daily. If you don’t reach out to people consistently on a daily basis, then you will find it very challenging to build a successful business.

Most people want to avoid the people that they know and go after complete strangers in hopes of things being “easier”.  However, the best advice you can ever get is to start with your warm prospects then proceed to the cold list of strangers.

It is much better to fish in your own backyard than to travel across country to go fishing.  You’ll find that they’re so many great catches that await you “if” you are willing to go out and release the bait.

Fishermen use the right bait to catch the right fish. The same goes with Network Marketing. You must have the right attitude, skills, and tools to motivate and guide your prospects towards your business. Apply the cardinal rule in building a solid and effective networking organization: Use the business to make great people and not use people to make the business great.

Keep on fishing. By doing this, you’re not only reaching out to a wider market base, you’re also discovering new blood along the way. Remember that in this industry, new blood is the life blood. So look for desire, not need.

2.  The People Franchise

Franchising doesn’t only apply to traditional businesses. It can also be used in Network Marketing. In fact, it is what Network Marketing is all about. It’s a people franchise business.

The competitive edge that this type of franchise has over its other competitors like Subway’s and Jiffy Lube is that it can be done from home.  In the Network Marketing World, you are your own boss, you get to enjoy time, and it certainly doesn’t require overhead and operating expenses.

You can start building your “people franchise” by calling your prospects over the phone, or using the Internet to reach a limitless audience.

3.  The Five-Step Empowerment

When you got started, just like you, your new members will also need training and guidance. Just like you, they have to be leaders of their own network. They have to be role models in order to build authority and influence other people. You can train and organize your network by applying this five-step empowerment.

I DO IT                                                                          I Model

I DO IT AND YOU WATCH                              I Mentor

YOU DO IT AND I WATCH                              I Monitor

YOU DO IT                                                                You Move Forward

YOU DO IT WITH SOMEONE ELSE          We Multiply

By applying this, you’re not only developing the potential skills of other people, you’re also building a strong and effective network. You can nurture them by believing in their skills, encouraging them to grow, sharing your ideas and thoughts with them, and trusting them to do the same with others.
